I had up to 500 at one time a few years back. If you want eggs get some Coturnix quail. They will lay eggs at 67 days old. If you want meat get Texas A&M white Coturnix. If you want hard to raise birds get Bob Whites, they die if a dog runs by the cages....

I raise them. I have JW coturnix. I have some 6 week old that I hatched are starting to lay. The true A&M are hard to find. I tried the pickled eggs. I just started back in March.

We raised over 5 thousand flight trained birds a year at a private lodge in Paxton Fl. What type of information are you looking for?

I was just wondering if others around had them. I am not messing with flight birds. I don't have the room and doing it mostly for eggs and meat.
