I know some of you are filling it also , and our fellow Alabama hunters are already in full regression.</DIV></DIV>What am I to do after Hunting Season is over ?</DIV></DIV>All the Ball Fetching Sports are pointless , and you cant Batter and fry any of those Damn Balls they all chase so hard.</DIV>So they cant possibly compare that to Hunting.</DIV>Besides , I would rather Eat my Mother in Laws Meat Loaf and gravy while staring at her under bite that looks just like Churchill's BullDog.</DIV></DIV>I once loved to Fish , and Live on a Bayou , but you can no longereat the fish.</DIV>So , you can catch a ball , or catch a Fish , but nether are advised for human consumption.</DIV></DIV>What is left is only Working Hard and Paying a lot of Taxes Right ?</DIV></DIV>I am also aMarried Man so I cant hunt the Chic's anymore , and as the Game Warden once told me ,</DIV> " You've already Caught your Limit " so Window Shopping Sucks ! , and No More Singapore Happy House for Me!= TMI</DIV></DIV>I am so Depressed as my life is Over.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

Normally by the end of the season i have put so many hours on stand that ive turned hunting into more of a job rather than a hobby. However, this year i killed my 127' 8pt on Nov 9th so the pressure lifted to kill the "big one". Sooooo I didnt hunt quite as religously as i have in many years past. Every season i say im gonna take it slow so that i dont burn myself out and this season i actually did it and i wish i hadnt. I wish there were a few more weekends left to hang out up at the camp. Maybe this year ill start serious turkey hunting but i doubt it. Normally by the time turkey season rolls around im elbow deep in sheepies. The one good thing about hunting season ending is that it means beach season is right around the corner. Pretty soon ill be sittin on the beach with my toes in the water, ass in the sand, with abeer in my hand:letsdrink Life is always good living in Pensacola!!! Paradise.. Cheers!!

Actually I'm glad its over. I can't wait for Turkey season to start. The bucks eluded me this year, so I was rather disgusted by mid to late Jan. I passed onseveral young bucks, but never even saw a decent 8pt to shoot...Miserable season for me.

But hey, I LOVE turkey hunting, so 6 more weeks till the REAL hunting begins!!!!!!

I'm feeling it bad this year. My #1 goal when the season started was to get my son his first deer of which I haven't succeeded at yet. On top of that unless I kill something during the late primitive season on Elgin I will for the first time in 6 years been skunked hunting deer. Even with that said my #1 goal is to still get my son his first even if I have to sacrifice my original primitive season hunting plans to do it. :banghead

Man your right, ive already wore out a few mouth calls, got a few crazy stares at the red lights, drove my wife to her bedroom, yelpin like crazy! I love to hunt deer but live to hunt turkeys. It can not get here soon enough. Maybe I will make another trip down that bumpy driveway to Vanderpols with another longbeard for the man cave! I think you got bit by the turkey bug last year!
