Seems public no longer can use ramp. Story is new owner, plans for boat storage. Thought public funds were used for ramp, and city made deal for pubic access.

Anyone know what’s going on?

Thinking back.....It was toted as a Public / Private ramp....and was "supposed" to be one of the most environment friendly ramps, in that there was a catch basin...once boats were out of the water.

Looking around town at property....This New project seems to follow suite....Take a beautiful large piece of property....Cut it up and cram as many houses....in this case boats in there as you can.

I don't think anyone working for the city of Pensacola has a clue of how to manage anything, A to Z.
They can spend millions on Cervantes creating seawalls against DOA jaywalkers. And the new irrigation and sod project along Garden Street that will be dead and inoperative in 2 months. But the waterfront access and boat ramps remain in ruins, blaming hurricanes, COVID, fill in the blank___________________, etc.
