Well just heard on the news ( channel 3 ) the only people that can close the pass is the Coast Guard and they have not anyplans on closing it . The boats that are coming in the pass have oil on them and not being cleanedbecause the Coast Guard doesn't have anything planned for a cleaning station. Let me see this is going on now for almost 60 days and have to plans . Really don't understand . Do we want to eat the fish ? According to Gary Finch just a minute ago stated he had oil on the boat .

Oil plume under the surface is coming and not far away.

Very frustrated, angry and more sad than anything .

<span class=adlabel-horz>Boom will be deployed across the opening of the pass and the pass will be navigationally restricted during incoming (flood) tide as waters enter Pensacola Bay.The pass will be staffed to allow access to necessary vessel traffic.

The pass will reopen during outgoing (ebb) tide as water flows out to the Gulf of Mexico.

Skimmers will continue working the night.
