I was finally able to make it over Sunday to the sale and Outcast seminar with Team Recess. The guys did a fantastic job of explaining all aspects of deepwater grouper fishing and I felt I walked away with a lot to think about for my next deeper trip. The drive from Fairhope was well worth it and I picked up a few goodies while I was there.

Total spent for the weekend...$375. Lots of good deals (nice Trevala rod) and information. Thanks to Outcast for putting on a fine event and for all who participated in the seminars. Finally got to meet the rest of the crew from "RECESS". I can see why these guys have fun and catch fish. Top notch stuff. Thanks again Gene and crew for sharing your knowledge with all of us. Met a few other members of PFF out there as well...and will be PM ing some of them for fishing trips this spring.

I also made it for the RECESS presentation. A big thanks to Gene and the guys for fielding all of the questions. I know I felt like I asked several. You guys did an awesome job of explaining everything and my son and I enjoyed the presentation. I think I may have to give deep-dropping a shot this year. Thanks again!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments, we have been truley blessed in so many ways . We tried our best to answer every question to the best of our knowledge.It was great meeting all of you but i have to say it was hard standing up there with the two best grouper fishermen in the crowd listening {Mark and Jake Adams}.oke Nothing but respect for yall.Thanks again everybodyand hopefully we can all get back fishing this cold is killing me.

Snuck out of the house thinking I was going to miss the seminar and not find what I was looking for. In n out!!!

Wrong, got there, late for Recess's seminar :doh caught15 minutes of it,and then spied what I was looking for. Trevala conventional rod 80-200 lb.

Snuck out of the seminar, QUICKLY got 2 rods spooled by Tommy's staff (nice to meet Tommy) then out in time to avoid the wrath of the Ole Battleax!!!!
