What's the rule for wearing orange while hunting in florida

im pretty sure you need it walking to and from stand.after you are 12 or 15 feet off ground you can take it off.

All these answers are correct to an extent, if you are hunting on public lands.....private property no orange is needed.

Vest in florida during gun season on public land. Needs to stay on. However when i get in my stand i take mine off the wrap it around the tree above me. Helps from having people walk in on you. Had fwc come check me one day and he didnt have a problem with it as long as i put it back on before climbing down
