Kenmore chest freezer. Has a couple of rust spots, especially on lid. My kids just gave me a much newer one, so this one is free to a PFF member.
I thawed it and gave it a quick scrub. Small issue; the top needs about a pound of pressure to keep it down… That issue came about when I just cleaned it; prolly gasket or sumpn simple.

I had one like that. Made a plywood lid and worked great.

Replace the gasket. It will reduce the ice build up inside and seal without a weight on it.

I’ll take it info can pick up in the morning. I get off at 730 in perdido key and can swing in on my way home if that works for you
