My mom called me this AM to see if I saw the paper. She read the article about a local (Andy Hall) who is a former Blue's pilot (Fat Albert) killing a huge OK deer. It's not the top deer but it'd be my top deer by MANY inches!!! Killed w/ a bow....

Probably does a lot of fishing :whistling: I long arm all my fish doesn't matter how big they are and then it gets to be a habit!

Better lucky than good. It was the first time I actually saw this deer in the flesh despite hundreds of night time pics over the previous 2 plus years.

I have lurked around pff the past 2-3 years mainly buying stands and other things for the property. What I didn't want to be is that guy posting trail cam pics of 150 plus inch deer from some other state and generally being an annoyance and "look at me" type of guy. I do enjoy the sight and regularly lurk around seeing what guys are doing. We do have some water on the property with plenty of 5 plus pound bass to be had, minnows here in FL. Pensacola News Journal did run a few pics of the buck in the paper last week and can still be seen on their website. Jason, thank you for the welcome and interest.

Hahahaha some might not like "that type of guy" but if you got it, POST it! I think the majority live vicariously through others!!! Aint been out west yet except fer 1 trip to TX....Been to KY/GA/AL and have tons of opportunities in VA/WV but have yet go up there! I always say maybe next year! Take care!
