Thursday Friday first weather days for offshore as everyone knows. We fished Friday in a completely dead zone between Nipple and Elbow. Water was green. I believeI saw one flyer all dayandand we couldn't buy a bite. You know fishing sucks when your folks are saying stuff like its just nice being out here.Salvaged day by actually doing some bottom fishing. Turns out pretty water was south and east. Kevin Kaples on the Catch 22 spent thur. nite at sword, hooked and lost good sword and no other bites, although he did raise a white in the dirty water near the elbow. Jason on the Motherlode fished pretty water south of the Ozark Friday and caught three wahoos and a blackfin. Mark Wren on Shell Shock hit the rigs thurs nite, as did some folks on this forum. They caught 5 yellowfins in the 60-70 lb class, a handfull in 30-40, and blackfins up to about 25 lbs (and a bunch of gumdrops).

Hard norther and the weather is gonna shuffle the offshore cards again.

Patrick, at least you took advantage of the weather window, we have only had about three days in October that the sea's have been less than 3'... so much for a nice October white marlin bite! When are you making the delivery to West Palm? Take it easy thanks for the post.
