Got to my plot at 11 am. Put a little extra corn on the plot and a rafter of turkeys flushed almost giving me a heart attack. Seen nothing thus far but the weather is promising. It is 2:30 pm 40 degrees or so 10mph north wind but thats ok. It rained most of night so the deer should move. The winds have slacked somewhat so its about that time. Signing off from north santa rosa.,..brrrrr

Good luck. I just got settled in about 30 minutes ago. No fresh tracks on the plot or any of the scrapes on the way in so I don't think they've moved much since the rain passed. Should be a good afternoon!

Seen a cowhorn and spike 30 minutes before dark. Tomorrow should be a good day according to the moon phase. We shall see. ����
