Came up to a friend of mines lease yesterday morning. Didnt make it in time to hunt since we got off work at 7am. Set yesterday afternoon. Seen one the biggest does ive ever seen bout 450pm. She came out in the plot bout 70 yds. No sooner she started blowin and naturally raisin hell. No idea what happened cause she was upwind of me. Never seen anything else. Set this morning and it was a perfect bow hunting morning except that the deer didnt get the memo. Set till 930 never sern a deer. Gonna give it one last shot this afternoon then its back to work tomorrow. I'll be ready for Sat to get here and be in a Florida pine.

Friend in Coffee county said no one saw a deer yesterday at their club. Just not moving. Havent checked the weather but a front is coming this weekend. May help.

I've been in the tree since 3pm. Havent seen anything yet. Moved off the plot into a little oak pocket. Maybe they will show. It's almost that magic hour.

It was slow around Troy today for me. Sat on a food plot this morning and didn't see anything. Sat in the hardwoods this evening and didn't see anything either.

I'd try flip flopping your scenario. Am woods, pm plot....seems to work better in our area, a little south of Troy.

Yep, catch them going to bed down from the food plot in the morning, and catch them going to the plot to feed in the afternoon.

Yeah I sat the field Monday afternoon. Saw 1 doe and a small yearling. Wasn't much better. Gonna try the hardwoods again in the morning.

Just Right down the road from Monroeville in the Vredenburgh area we have reports from Monday & Tuesday of good deer movement around 430 pm not much in the mornings.

Seeing deer on acorns only at my place in tunnel springs. All food plot activity is at night. Killed a 7pt cull buck opening afternoon on a white oak ridge. Had a basket 8 with him. The white and red oaks are raining down at our place.
