Made it out on Monday with Sean Mclemore and his dad. Monday seemed to have the best forecast for the next two weeks, so we jumped on it. We left Navy Point at about 7:00am, and headed east to some natural bottom. We fished first and got a mess of trigger fish. Then we dove it and shot a couple of fish. We ran over to the Florida Girl rocks and dropped there. As with every spot I've dove since November, the endangered Red Snapper were in abundance. We were literally trying to push them out of the way to get a shot on legal fish. Anybody that thinks that Red Snapper are scarce needs to come diving with me. Anyway. The viz was great and the water was not too cold at 66 degree bottom temp. We headed home, cleaned fish and fried some trigger fish. All in all it was a great day on the water.
