I'm buying a new prop for a small outboard & have to purchase the hub separately. I'm in Pensacola - can anyone recommend a shop that can press in the hub for me?

Thanks!

Not too familiar with the smaller props but if you are having to buy a prop and a hub then I bet a press is not needed. That is how a lot of the bigger props work these days. Exactly what hub kit are you buying?

It’s for a 2000 Johnson 50 HP. Michigan Wheel Vortex 11 3/4” X 15P. Hub kit system is XHS-111. The website said they were sold separately so I assumed I’d have to have the hub pressed into the prop. That will be great if they send it already assembled! If not, I’ll head to Gulf Shores. What’s the name of the shop there?

There is no press needed for that. The hub is plastic instead of rubber and kind of square so it is not a press fit.
