Wife and I are coming down next week and she is looking for an off shore party boat trip. I'll be bringing my 17' boat along but she's not comfortable getting to far off shore in it. I was looking at party boats in Destin and noticed the New Florida Girl is still listed. Several years ago I used to take trips on her, but was told the last time I went that it would be their last year. My question, is the New Florida Girl still booking fishing trips? If their not then I'll probably take her out on one of the Swoop boats.

she still runs charters but i think only 4 or 6 hour snapper trips in the summer. i may be wrong on that but i am pretty sure she only goes out short trips...The American Spirit is the larger newer boat and is a pretty good time...find Alan and have him be your deck hand.

Thanks guys for the reponses. I sure miss fishing on the ole Florida Girl. Last time I went out Capt. stated he was shutting her down because of all the changes in fishing regulations. Think I'll let the wife try the American Spirit.
