I might could make you one
Shiznik (2/14/2010)Curious to see the pic of the one you make. The steel/alloy Walmart ones may work, but the do rust around all the fitting, bolts after a while. How about a long handle too for taller people? Might create more leverage and work better? Just an idea?

Shiznik (2/15/2010)Might sound crazy, but if I one with my own specs to it, it'd be 6' long and 20" wide for the rake catch. I was kinda wondering what yours would look like for the mesh. Sounds like it'd be awesome for the fleas! You might have another product line there!
69Viking (3/11/2010)If you don't mind post a pic of the one you made with specs, I'd love to compare it to the one I have just out of curiosity!choppedliver (3/9/2010)I finished mine today... I wont be making anymore guys... sorry I just have too many projects going on that I need to concentrate. The one I made is nice, but there is no way I can make one like mine for a price you guys would buy and still be worth my time and effort. If I had more tools and some different materials, possibly, but for now sand flea rakes are off my "to do list".
That does not mean I wont make them in the future when I have different materials and tools. I would also revisit the sand flea rake situation if I come up with a simpler design that I can make economically
