Hey guys, I have a young buddy, he is turning 13 this Sunday. I'm not a freak, he is friends with my 12 year old. Anyways his father died when he was younger, and he has been tagging along for a couple of years now with my son and I, on any outdoors activities we do. Recently saved all his grass cutting money I took him down and got him a bow, from Ben at outcast. But he's been eye balling an old muzzle loader in my gun cabinet, long story short, I'm giving him the gun for his birthday Sunday, but I need a scope for it. I'm tapped out on money right now and just need a decent scope to mount on this rig for him if possible. So if you have one not being used, and you don't mind a youngster getting it for his first gun, I and he would appreciate. Please pm with anything you have!! Thanks eric

I have a scope that came mounted on my Mossberg ATR100. I'd have to look, but I think it's a 3-9x40. He can have the scope for free if you'll come get it from Navarre on Saturday or Sunday. It's mounted on a that Mossberg .270 that I probably won't ever use again. If he'd rather have a bolt action instead of that muzzleloader, I might throw in that rifle as well. Just depends on how "deserving" this kid is in your eyes.
Shoot me a PM with some info about the kid. Scope is his if you'll come pick it up. Rifle might be his too if he'll commit to learning about cleaning/care for a gun. He'll need to give this .270 a good bath if he gets it.
