Im off work, don't have class, and the weather is going to be fantastic so I'm going offshore wednesday morning. High tide is early AM and Low tide is 11Am so I'm thinking the bite will be on in the morning! Water shouldnt be too rough either, I guess Ill know for sure when I get out there. If anyone wants to join me out there Ill probably be in the parking lot by 6:45 just east of the pier. Im going to do some trolling and test out my bottom machine which I hope is fixed now, Maybe find some good holes to drop in. Would really enjoy some company out there!

+1. Jd knows best
My buddy learned the hard way the other day lol
LoL I still cant believe they went out that day.

I am kind of glad I got my rear end kicked the week before or I may have risked it for those big triggers I saw a couple days before.

Yup, that was us last Saturday. Both of us made it through the surf in our second try. Worst part was we couldn't find any bait. Ended up with 3 little hardtails. Nate caught a king within 2 minutes of putting one out but that was all we got all day. Definitely some four foot waves out there. Coming back in was much better than getting out. We stayed just outside the break until we saw a calm spot and paddled like crazy to get in before the next set. Will definitely follow suit next time when everyone else leaves because it's too rough!

Me and Dvldocz tried our luck yesterday at NB but put in a few public parking lots east of the pier. Swellinfo was saying 0-1ft but were full of crap! Had I not drove an hour to get there I would have said to hell with it... Easily 2-3ft swells on occasion and the chop was ricockulous! Talk about stressful having to put in with close outs right on the beach with 3 hotties right in front of us . Made it out and hopefully looked cool in the process and after 3 hours of trolling about a mile out and only a few Spanish and freaking remoras we headed back in. Holy crap was that exciting and exhausting at the same time. Thought my heart was going to explode dragging my boat up the severe incline caused by the waves on the beach... No idea how you guys do it there but the Key is nothing like that.
