Fished for a few hours on sunday morning before lunch. The skipjack bite was non existent at first light which was kind of surprising, they normally seem to be really active at that time. I managed to catch a few pinfish and tried live lining them but didn't have any luck, so I decided to cut the guy up. Within 10 minutes I had a pretty good bite on the cut fish and set the hook.

As you can see in the video he pulled drag quite a bit and than seemed to settle and suction himself to the bottom. He kept me busy for nearly 40 minutes before I was finally able to drag him up onto the beach.

Wasn't sure how to get the hook out so I cut the line at the top of the leader and let him swim off.

I was out there yesterday (21 AUG) around noon. Not a single bite except a stingray that managed to get snagged on my lure. It put up quite the fight, probably took a good 15 mins to reel it in. Caught just behind the Mustin O-Club.
