Maybe unintentional but thinking about it. That would be a dang good way to do fields and make a lake produce more. Cold water fish don't need as much water/oxygen to live. Concentrates all there food close in with them when they are lethargic. And good fresh soft fertilized ground for plants. Then flood it back in the spring. Then all that plant material fires the food chain off for the fish.I believe it is just dry do to lack of rain. There are beavers, they may have damaged the dam. But we are going to take advantage of the low water and grass. We have had feeders on the edge of it for months, this is just a big plus.
I think you have a quirk going on. Mine seems to be working.am i the only one having to confirm i like things ?

You need to set a pole to climb closer to the water or a tri pod over that close gap so you can fish while your waiting LOLThis was my view this AM.... saw 2 doe that snuck in behind me. Needed a ball cap, facing the sun sucked...

Been trying to kill a beaver or 2 that come and go in the pond....really hoping to see one while hunting. It was comical watching turtles and bass playing. The pond is about 3 ft low now due to the drought and is crystal clear!!!You need to set a pole to climb closer to the water or a tri pod over that close gap so you can fish while your waiting LOL
