I see most of my deer at around 9-10 am and just a few minutes before dark, but I do like to see the sun rise and watch the woods wake up. It always seems like a few minutes after the sun goes down but its still light, all kinds of animals start moving around. And it happens at the exact same time every evening, I don't know what that's about but I can always count on hearing and seeing a whole bunch of different animals about 10 minutes before its to dark to shoot. I still believe that if you want to shoot a good deer you need to sit in the stand as much as you can because you really never know when they will show up.
