Put a couple extra scoops of coffee in the filter this morning and started the next phase of rigging my boat. Ive been planning to take the back deck out from the start so I cut it this morning.
I’m having my glass man build a compartment on the starboard side about 12” deep to hide the rigging tube and wires. The bilge will be glassed in flush with the floor and have a access hatch installed. The gunnel cap and sides will be extended to the back and the splashwell will be smoothed out where the cuts were made. A little gelcoat and I’ll have my deck space lioe I want it again.
I have to reroute a few wires, move the fuel filter, and remove 3 thruhull fittings and it will be time to drop it off with the glass man.
Sometimes you just gotta build them the way you want them.
