well woke up too late to get a morning hunt in(its just under a 2-hour drive) so i headed up there to meet with my uncle around 9ish. so i left a 7 sharp to head to Elba (i think) and on my way up there i saw a couple of does run in front of me about 50yds right in the middle of Blue Springs! so i was like yay this is gonna be a good day if there moveing up there! so i met up with him at the Opp co-op and then went to the land. we got to the woods about 10ish and went to the other side that we werent hunting and checked the cameras and nothing spectactular...so then we went to the parking spot and decided where we were gonna hunt. so after we decided witht the wind bein a main factor, we headed to our spots. on my way to the shootin house i noticed some tracks on the road...man were they HUGE! prolly close to 4inches long and about an inch deep on hard clay! l and i got in the shootin house around 12:30 waitin on mr. bigguns. sat for about 30ish mins and 3 does came on the plot...so i got excited hopin mr. b would be right behind them...or aleast a 6 point! well i watched them for about an hour and a half as they played and frolicked and i decided that they were a nanny and two yerling the way they acted. well after they left about 2ish hours later a real finicy doe walked out and she looked about 3 or so years old...droop in back big belly and messed up hair. well she stayed for about 10 mins and kept lookin over her shoulder at something in the hardwoods. and the last time she looked to the back corner and turned, then stopmted and stared like she was challenging something. after that she hopped off in the pines and it was gettin dark quick. so it finally got to dark to see without a scope(i was useing iron sights) and i creeped out the back and checked 1 more time with my binos and ofcourse there he was! a huge bodied deer trottin across the plot on the trail of the last doe! ill be back to get him!:banghead
