If you had the choice of buying either the Mitchell 302 or the Penn 704z which would you choose. Both are in great shape and they are both the same price. Thanks for any help.

I would probably go with the 704, they seem to be a bit more reliable.

I would go with the Penn 704; just partial to Penns.

I've used both over the years ans I like them both, but I think the 704Z has a better drag system and is much easier to clean/maintain/repair. They're pretty much bullet proof.
