Hit the flats around 10:00am this morning with the pro Eric Holstman. The sun was high, the wind was calm and the visibility was perfect to target shallow water reds. Caught 6to 8 very nice 20in trout to start the day off. The red bite was slow so we moved to some shallow water banks where Eric found a new friend (snapping turtle) and we ended up catching about 20 reds. The bite was very consistant for over an hour. I dont know how big this Aligator snapping turtle was but he was a beast. It was released unharmed.
