I thought this warmer weather would turn on the bite.....wrong. My son and I fished Simpsons and the "X" without a bite today. We bass fished and trolled for specks/reds. I fish out of a small boat w/trolling motor, my battery died about 2 miles from launch and we had to paddle most of the way back. Two older fellas gave us a tow back to simpsons pier. (thanx guys) My back is killin me, and I need to buy a new battery. Maybe next time.

Sorry to hear about the dead battery--I had the same this weekend, the cold weather killed my batteries. Academy is having a sale on batteries...

Ive been working a lot lately and these last few days of great weather make me think "what a great day to go fishing" then I think back to the reports and realize just because I think its a great day doesnt mean the fish think so... lol
