I HAVE A 1985 35 HP. EVINRUDE AND I'M IN NEED OF A CONTROL BOX FOR IT. I BELIEVE ALATE 70'S TO SOMEWHERE AROUND 1995 WILL WORK FOR IT.....IT NEEDS TO BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER...DOESN'T HAVE TO LOOK PRETTY.

If you can't find a Johnrude control just get a Morse type control on E-Bay. They will be cheaper and just need an adapter fitting on the engine controls for the cables.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, there is a boat repair shop in summerdale al. that has a pile of them ( along with other older motor parts)and is very reasonable in what he charges on used parts..........I travel past there often and would stop and check for you if you are in no hurry.............Dennis

I dont remember their name,but they are located on the corner of county rd. 32 and county rd. 9 in alabama.....................nice folks / just a local repairshop / nothing fancy
