On this trip, I head out into Pensacola Bay in search of multiples species of fish that I could catch. I was specifically targeting Mangrove Snapper, Speckled Trout, and Redfish on this kayak fishing adventure. The rig that I was using was one that I use on a lot of my trips; the popping cork. All I simply did was use about 3 feet of leader with a live shrimp on the end. Casting near docks and seawalls was proving very effective and I caught loads of fish in a short amount of time! I was using my New Old Town Topwater 120 PDL Drive on this trip and having reverse on my kayak was essential to holding my position on this trip.
