A good bit of Texas got snow yesterday. About 30 min from lease and it was snowing pretty good. Not much sticking with all the water on the ground. One hog already came by feeder. Hopefully these deer will move at some point.

I hunted out near Hemphill, TX when I was still in high school in Houston. That's a great area to get away from everything. Lots of deer to stack up out there, too.

I’m just south of Hemphill. Lease is few miles from the dam.

Can you still catch stripers under the dam?

Not sure. Never tried. Bass fished there years ago. Since I’ve moved here(spring ’19) I’ve only crappie fished Rayburn.
