Let's say I found a cape bay 22

So I know a guy trying to sell it to me for 27,000 and I think it's kinda high because it was the last one ever built but never got finished. It apparently set in the mold a while then this guy fixed up the inside himself. So in my eyes the interior isn't even Cape Horn so I think that cuts the price down a little. It has a 05 mercury verado 275 on it with less the 500 hours and no livewells. I was thinking more of the low 20s to 18,000 given the fact that it's just the hull that's Cape Horn. Does that make sense to anyone else?

I have one and I'd be leery of it. It wasn't finished at the factory so it won't be a true "Cape Horn" IMO. Also, I'd think the resale on it would be lower than a normal cape Horn 22 bay. FYI, what everyone says is true.....best bay boat ever made!
