I am looking to get a great light set up but I am struggling between the two different types of lights. Price isnt that much of an issue. I just want to see real well. Any thoughts?

Where are you putting your light set up? I use LED's in places where I need light but not necessary to read. I have them on the side of the house, closet, and hallway. I have some LED flashlights that put out a good stream of light. I still like an incandescent to read a book.

When I clicked on your post, it was on the side. Since this was under flounder fishing, you likely want it on your boat or a raft. I think LEDs would be fine for this. I use the LED flashlight to shine down into the water. Maybe some guys who have them can tell you more.

If money was no object I would have a generator running some MH bulbs. But I'm poor so I have 2 of the starfire underwater lights,and have stuck many flatties with them.The LEDs are nice,I've seen some whilst out gigging and they seem to do a good job of lighting things up.

What are MH lights? I am getting rigged back up and want to do it right.
