I just got word from a reliable source that kings were thick off the jetty down here in Port Aransas, TX right before the sun went down. Several fish skying on mullet. My thought is that since the moon is 90% full, and will be directly overhead at around 11:30 tonight, a big noisy topwater might produce some fun... I've never targeted kings at night so hopefully someone else has and has some advice for me...
So, if you've ever tried it (successfully or unsuccessfully) let me know what you think...
Thanks in advance!

ive caught a lot at night off dauphin island on some of the rigs .Just find a well lit rig and they hit just about anything they would in the daytime. We trolled stretch 25s and 30s as well as cigs behind duster rigs and like the other post said no monsters but we did pull a 30lb or two in at night.
