Just seeing what everyone is using for their main light .
I looked at the scotty ones and some other companies but they want way to much for a light on a stick... Im thinking of making my own

Ive seen some innovative things n here so share what you are using
thanks

Oscar I used a solar yard light in a piece of PVC if you get one with high lumens its pretty bright .. and eco friendly :)

cut a piece of 1\2 inch pvc around 4 feet. get a small Maglite and take the head off to expose the bulb. drill a hole in the pvc about 3 inches from the top and install a screw as a stop. put the Maglite in the pvc, stick the pvc in a rod holder and... presto! a cheap kayak light. You can even mount a small tupperware container over the light to protect from water. I also mount a LED bicycle light facing backwards on the pvc and I wear a head lamp. That's plenty enough light for what I need.
