:) Does anyone have any info or advice on summertime fishing for beeliners and scamp? We are new to the area and looking forward to a few months of offshore fishing. Any and all info much appreciated.
thanks,
John

You just needed to drive to the dropoff. And work from there with live cigars. The edge is fished hard, but still can produce quality. I like going a little further southwest. More towards the yellow gravel area.
Work the dropoff between those two locations. The farther from land see's fewer weights hittin the bottom.

thanks. I tried to go this weekend but too choppy to bottom fish. did some trolling instead and caught some jacks and kings. was able to find trysler grounds and some promising looking artificial reefs on my sonar, but 5ft seas and looming T-storms shooed me northwards.
