I camped at Big Lagoon last weekend. Tent camping in the weather that we had Friday night and Saturday sure makes you appreciate the finer things in life. We fished all day on Saturday, except for a couple of hours in the afternoon when a thunderstorm ran us off the beach. Around noonwe got into some reds that kept us busy for about an hour. The smallest was 24 inches and the rest were over slot. Sunday it was cat fish central all day. The surf wasrough both daysand the water color was like chocolate milk. Oh well, it was still more fun than being at work.

What were the reds hitting? I have been out there all weekend and threw litterally everything out in a usually productive spot, but we did get two nice pomps!

Half of the reds were caught on sand fleas and the other half on live pin fish. The red that I cleaned was full of sand fleas.
