Came up with a solution to carry my rods using the Jeep. 1-1/2" pvc, no bolts/screws, simply hangs on the spare and when not in use is easily removed.

This right here ^. I’ve seen it happen a few times. I’d personally find another method. Garbo had a Van Staal stole like that at the red light in Perdido years ago.

I'm pretty aware of my surroundings, but I understand there will be lapses. What I had in mind was something that isn't readily apparent, but when someone attempted a snatch it would be such a cluster fuck failure with no quick defeat. Difficult to make ninja moves with a 11' surf rod lol!

Tested for the first time this evening...drove down to Navarre bridge. Worked just like it's supposed to.
