Wow..Thanks for the laugh guys! Really needed it! My favorite part has to be the handstand! :-D It's never easy getting into the Gulf, but then again, if you go on the right days when it isn't "sporty", it's exponentially easier.. ;-)
It depends on how shallow it is for how long. In some launches we paddle out until we get past the breakers and then put in our drives. But in some, like this one, its usually deep enough right at the lip of the surf to go ahead and hop in and start pedaling.

Is there a spot to launch a kayak on the Gulf Breeze side of 3MB? Google maps shows there may be a break in the rocks under the bridge at Wayside park in Gulf Breeze; but with all the construction I can't really trust Google maps.
