</p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" face="Calibri" size="null" color="#000000">The Gulf Council voted to ask National Marine Fisheries Service to close recreational gag grouper in the Gulf through use of an interim rule.</p>Commercial harvest will be allowed. That should anger everyone.FRAsharks will review the legality of this action.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);">The FRA has long contended that the gag stock assessment isfatally flawed and provides themisinformationthat drives the unnecessaryclosure efforts. <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" face="Calibri" size="null" color="#000000">We all know that red tide did not kill a third of all Gulf grouper in 2005. We all know that the recreational effort is WAY down, yet the fatally flawed MRFSS indicates that effort remained high throughout our recent economic recession. All this Federal Bologna is hogwash. If it is closed to the recs then it should be closed to everyone. Period. Ladies and Gentlemen it is time to shake up Washington. Vote out every single incumbent reguardless whether you like them or think they are doing a fantastic job for you. They are not our friend. They are the Elites and our enemy. Throw the suckers to the curb in November and get someone in that will listen and clean house on NOAA and NMFS and any other waste of taxpayer dollars outfit.
