That one is a termite w/o wings. Yup, tis the season.

* just like ants, they'll lose their wings after/during their swarm

Formosan termite alate... doesn't mean anything, other than a colony is nearby. They drop their wings as soon as they land. Typically you will see them around exterior doors, bathrooms (they enter home via ridge vents and then fan vents in bathrooms) and around stoves (if you have a true hood vent)... anything that gets inside, will dehydrate and die within 12 hours.
