Hey y'all I am looking for about an 8 to 10' length of chain link fence that I can drag behind my tractor to level out some dirt where I dug out a bunch of stumps. Someone told me I could weight down some chain link and drag it around. Plz let me know if you have some old fencing laying around.

Thanks.................... Bob

We did the fence drag before we sodded at our new house years ago. It was the best yard in the hood. If was funny, other neighbors were asking the builder to do that to their yard. He said no, we were the homeowners. The gate fence part works the best, with very little weight on dry sand but a bit more for real dirt.

Thanks for the tips. In fact, now I am gonna take an 8' piece of 6" schedule eighty pipe and wire the weighted down fencing (when I find some) fence to that pipe. Thank y'all

I have plenty you can have. About approx. 50 foot of coated wire and some regular wire. It is Walnut Hill close to grain elevator. I also use fence wire to cover seeds in food plots.
