I have never fished the ICW before. Was just wondering if it holds fish in the winter like most rivers do. Seems like people are catching fish on both sides of it, just wondering if its worth a go if I'm out there looking around. Thanks.
Yup, there's trout in the intercoastal between Choctawhatchee Bay and West Bay. Some guys find them on the West endnear the bay. But the most famous places are called the spill ways. These are rock lined drains along the intercoastal about 7-8 miles East of Point Washington. It's a long run and sometimes I can't find fish. I did find them one time this season. Good Luck!
