On the nice slick bay right now. It's gorgeous out there right now and the water is SMOOOOOOTH. Work is over rated. Sometimes working where you can see the water is torture when you can't get out there.
Well I enjoyed it!!! Ran around to some holes. Caught 2 Gator Trout. Ran back in before dark to Mouth Bayou Chico caught three specs small, had a pop'n cork out had a gator on that but lost it. Caught about a dozen White Trout and 2 croakers. Had fun. Still nothing to get excited about.
Got out into the Gulf today and caught a bunch of triggerfish. About two out of three were legal. Caught everything in close on natural bottom. I hope the Gulf is pretty again tomorrow. Tried to put some baits down for Grouper but the snapper were too thick. It is hard to believe they are on the brink of extiction.
