Do you all prefer braid or mono on your VS and why? I see you've got braid. I've seen it mentioned that some folks didn't recommend braid for kings b/c of losing a finger or something. You gonna use this setup for a little bit of everything?

For pier fishing, 50lb power pro during ling season and 17lb suffix for mackeral fishing. from the boat 30lb mono for ling fishing and 20lb mono for mackeral fishing.

i noticed the 275 is about the same size as the 250 with the line capacity of a 300. Hmmmm same size...more line. Is the 275 just too big for the pier?

yes i agree with chickenbone it looks like all you need now is a decent looking jig. and great buy i have a 250 myself and love it for cobia and kind even though it's a little to big for kind it still kickes there asses.
