Yes, Perdido key area. They are feeding on Pinta, Salvia, Hibiscus, Red buckeye, and hard on the Shrimp plants. We have a feeder up, but yet to see one on it. Started seeing them about a week ago. (this report 3/30).

My regular nesting pair over the last 3 years is back again, first noticed the male over 3 weeks ago, then started seeing the female in the last week. Nichols Lake -East Milton
None over this way. I am seeing dead birds in my yard tho, 5 already? Maybe they had the virus or bird flu?
Seriously, I picked up 2 last week, then 2 more a couple days later, then another, and 1 this morning.
Not sure whats killing them, maybe the bird feed? It's fresh bought tho.
Hope it's not getting the hummingbirds too.
There are less chickadees and wrens than usual at my feeder this time of year. Still seeing male and female Cardinals and a Brown Thrush. Also I have seen several female hummers and one bright red throated male. Bird watching is my relief from the bad news going on and keeping my distance. I hope it isn't the seed. I just bought a bag of sunflower seed less than a month ago and I keep it airtight.
Well all of a sudden after Sally we have 20-30 birds eating 2+ cups of sugar water a day. They did this last year just before migration to fatten up for the next leg
I've noticed some around my mandavillas lately in scenic heights,my buddy in gulf breeze in polynesian isles has star wars going on with ten or so hitting his feeders
We seemed to be having the worst Summer ever until a month or so ago. Since then it has been pretty much nonstop. We have a half dozen or so. They were even feeding during the height of the storm!
After the cold snap hit we had a flock of 5 or 6 fighting over our bottlebushes in Destin. We put the feeder out but it seems they've thinned out in the last 2 days or so.
Up in cantonment and had 2 hanging out daily about 15 days before sally. I was surprised the morning after while I was checking out the damage, one came within 6 feet and didn’t care if I was there. They were still here this morning. Might have to break out the good camera this weekend see if I can get some shots of them.
I counted at least 7 at one time. I have 3 feeders on the front porch and some hanging Begonias. When I sit on the porch I feel like I am watching aerial combat. I saw the same after H Ivan.
A couple of days after the storm when I was cutting trees off an old couples house, I saw 4 hummingbirds feeding on what was left of their "Bottle-Brush" flowers. They said they used to flock their yard when all the flowers were still on the trees bushes. They had about 12 or 15 of them planted on the sides and back property lines.
Thinking of ordering some thru Michigan Bulb Co., for spring planting.
They make an excellent food source for a variety of insects. Put some African Basil underneath it and see what happens! The Basil flower stems are the most potent fresh Basil you'll ever taste.
