It's been fairly barren for me so far. Looks like I will have to focus on pigs in the spring, I don't think I'll get a deer this year it's a good thing Kari got one). I have a few more chances left, things might change.

i was able to nail a nice 125-130lb doe in my back yard off eastgate road.... and you could tell ive been feeding them for a long time, she was a fat heffer

high water has hurt our (mine, brother, wild ***** )numbers big time. we have not been able to hunt half as much as last year and some probably drowned. it is high rightnow and probably unhuntable by regulation wise. hopefully it will go down soon and we canget on them in february.

A friend and I had planned on going yesterday but the high water reports turned us away. He figured though that they would be easier to find if they were stuck on high ground but with that much moving water we just decided not to.

3 bucks taken by my 2 sons on a three day hunt during the cold spell in Nothern Ms. I was sitting my youngest son for his first buck....AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best three days of the year for me and my sons for sure!
