Just curious how you guys would work this, just a steady retrieve? Fast or slow? Ill be fishing off the pier.

Not to be negative but when you loose it you'll know that was one pretty SOB. Hell I'd try and eat that sucker. JMO but if you're working a bridge or pier why spend that kind of money? If you want a king why not a cig under a balloon drifted out with the right current? I know it's all a matter of what you want but damn that's one expensive lure to take a chance on loosing.

I usually fish for them with live bait, I just wanted to change it up every once in a while. Snobbeling a cig gets old after a little while haha
