I right click on the bar with the http and click on copy. Then I click in the text area right lick then click on paste. No problem

I've posted this a few times......but here ya go brother.

Copy the address of the youtube video you want such as:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUUZ2fKVqcs

If you post it like this, it will be a link......but if you DELETE the https:// and just post the rest, it'll appear like this

Now be careful because sometimes at the end of the address it may post at the end a broken youtube in the address and will have a (.)period between the letters is "youtube" so then you have to take that out to....there you go and try it out!!!

Important note: this will *not* show up in the preview mode, but works and can be retroactively done to a link after you submit your post. Just edited a post by deleting the "https://" Part and clicked save. Video now embedded.
I appreciate all of yaws help...maybe its a phone issue..i usually dont sit at a lap top....I tried everything mentioned and it always says invalid file.it was just a 41 second video of an octupus-redfish double from last night.....i have never been able to post a video though. ..i have no problems with facebook taking my videos, but pff has given me nothing but issues
It's posted as a sticky in Off Topic and Testing....

Jim, you left it without the http:// BUT at the end you see how it is youtu.be ? you have to take out the period between the u and b. It will look like this then,,,,,
