As we all know, when you mount a transducer through hull you dont get an accurate water temp. I have one of these around here some where, and if I dont, its cheap enough to get a new one. You could easily mount the probe through a scupper hole and mount the gauge somewhere with out any permanent damage.

Saying that, is it worth it? I mostly fish offshore and I know the blue water guys really look for temp breaks and such, but close in would it even be of use?
