Should come with one. But if your looking for a upgrade bending branches make really good light paddles. Also accent paddles has on that transforms into a kayak paddle, sup paddle, push pole and stake out pole. Perfect for the pa. Check out my review video

That is exactly what I have been looking for. Native used to make a paddle pole (Jimbo Meador design) but they stopped selling them and the used market is slim.

Do you know where I can get an Accent Transformer locally (FL/AL)?

cheers,

I only ever take a half paddle. Only thing I ever need it for is reverse. The PA is a real pain to paddle like you would in a regular yak. The rails come up too high and it's a very wide yak. If the seat were a bit more elevated, it might be easier. I think you would be better off just buying a cheap canoe paddle for reverse, shoving off, etc. If you fish a lot of very shallow water, and NEED to paddle often, I would suggest removing the rails to use a traditional kayak paddle more easily.

I use the tramsformer paddle a good bit when entering and exiting the surf. Its really not super bad to paddle but if i am in shallow water i use the push pole or sup paddle so i can stand and sight cast.

I wouldnt recommend buying a cheap paddle or canoe paddle cuz what if your drive breaks and you have a long way back. You would def want a double bladed paddle

Nah, I paid the extra $20 for the super duper titanium-carbon fiber NASA approved mirage drive...no worries. Lol yeah, Brandon makes a good point. A real paddle is a good back-up plan. I just don't worry about it. The half paddle saves some room and I keep all the tools I need to fix the drive in the boat. If it don't work, I'll just have to pay the consequences. To each his (or her) own.
