Ok my boat, 1989 21 foot Sunbird cuddy cabin. Power plant 1989 Johnson 110hp converted from V.R.O.
Fuel capacity 48 gallons.
The plan trailer my boat to Fort Walton this afternoon with a friend. Launch and anchor up on the inside. Hopefully with a bit of protection from the wind.
Grill a steak, catch some bait. Try not to freeze.
At first light. Out Destin Fl pass, troll west to Pensacola Pass. End of trip Navy Point ramp.
About 65 miles + or -

The good.
Following seas the whole way.
Staying with in 3 miles of land the whole way.
Seatow

The not so good.
Cold as hell
High wind till about noon.
Having to go to a party with the better half Saturday night.

Trying to decide.

2 weeks ago went from navy point ramp to 3 barges then to Pensacola bridge rubble. Back to ramp fuel consumption 30 gallons. No trolling.
I am sure fuel will not be a issue. But will carry 2 five gallon cans of fuel for a reserve.

Thoughts?

sounds like a winner - just stay warm (with layering) and alert.
