Just got back from my trip to Henderson Island. It is an awesome place. Almost 7000 acre island in the MS river. All bow hunting. It used to be Willow Point which was a pay hunt operation. It is now privately owned. I been fortunate enough to have been invited to go the last two years. Last year I shot my largest deer with a bow. An 120" 8pt with a 20" spread. This year I killed a 130" 8pt. The deer came in chasing a doe and luckily stopped long enough to get a shot. Shot him at 20yds. Made a great shot and watched him fall about 60yds away. It's a great feeling when you see them fall. My talley for the week 2 does, 1 8pt, and missed a doe. Here are some pics.
